Total Asphalt has a logo "Our Name Says It All". This is because we do all aspects of asphalt works from pot holes, private driveways, car parks, edging cutting and spray seal works on roads. Total Asphalt recently expanded it's operations to include Total Traffic Management to provide the signs and manpower for road closures and traffic control anywhere in the Goldfields region. Terry Hosking is the Owner/Manager of Total Asphalt and Total Traffic Management. Terry started the business nine years ago with himself and one ute. These days he employs eight full-time staff and owns a number of different vehicles including trucks, two asphalt pavers, a roller, a flocon unit and a bobcat. We find being locally owned and operated is an advantage in the Goldfields as we are able to mobilize at short notice, thus providing a better service to the contractor and the road user. We will travel to Wiluna, Esperance, Southern Cross and Eucla. Total Asphalt and Total Traffic Management are businesses unique to the Goldfields region as all of our competitors are based in Perth. We can therefore service our customers with minimal delay and low mobilization costs. Our major achievements over the past couple of years are moving up from pothole and driveways to major works for large companies. Our biggest achievement is being able to supply and lay for local and surrounding shires, which includes the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
