We provide a comprehensive suite of services from long term planning and post-mining land use, to impoundment design, through to audits and the preparation of annual statutory reporting. We provide field services, including site selection, investigation, acquisition and construction of dame, dumps, flood mitigation, abandonment bunds, native flora inventories and revegetation programmes. We prepare tailored solutions on environmental management plans and audit processes that are always site specific and require meteorological, drainage, soil, foundation and impact analysis statements. Tailings and Waste Management We have an independent contracting association, which can provide a total service of geotechnical design, layout, construction and revegetation. Goodz GMC is proactive in incorporating final environmental rehabilitation practices into all construction designs. This promotes early completion of abandonment procedures, which often eliminates the government requirements for large environmental bonds or bank guarantees, that can detrimentally affect cashflow positions. Corporate Services Goodz GMC offers technical services to mining, exploration and financial organisations. Our services range from technical audits, operational reviews, independent valuations and benchmarking. We can provide various business solutions and performance reviews, including optimisation studies. Strategic Planning We have a post-mining use design process which looks at minesite rehabilitation and land use activities after mining. We have established processes that are incorporated during the mine life to eliminate post-mining rehabilitation as a sunk capital expense and to avoid the need for large upfront bonds and guarantees. We have provided long term planning solutions involving mine expansions, transition from open pit to underground, reopening old mine workings, near-mine ore host repetition modelling and life-of-mine models. Management Services Our team specialises in project management and operations support. Project Management - we have a proven track record in project conception and team coordination. We have managed project teams within the organisational departments and as separate project units. Operations Support Management - our certificated managers are experienced in the management of mines, both in the development/construction phases and in production. Our specialty is in underground mining and shaft operations. We provide a service to relieve existing management when unexpected events occur, or to fill temporary appointments. Specialist Services Our experience allows us to prepare expert reports, act as an expert witness, provide support in relation to legal matters, methods, valuations, designs and geological interpretations. We provide independent reporting and valuations on tenements, assets, and mineral resource statements. Safety and Health Systems Goodz GMC has established systems of continuous improvement and prepared procedure and process manuals to work best practice standards. We have designed emergency action and disaster plan management systems, and hazard identification systems. We have developed audit systems to review individual and site practices and to ensure competencies. We provide site audits of safety management systems, evaluate performance and review benchmarking standards. Software Solutions We utilise various software systems in mine planning and resource evaluation. For specialist cavity modelling, we utilise the GEMS package for object definition. Our models have been used to extend the mine life of Australia's longest continually operating gold mine; to expand what may eventually be the largest gold operation in the Kalgoorlie Southeast district; and to design Victoria's next major new gold mine. Mining Operations Since 1987, Goodz GMC has designed and managed the A1, Morning Star and Daisy-Milano gold mines, and can provide on the ground services relating to audits, surveys, ventilation, infrastructure and extraction. We have priority access to toll treating facilities for parcels between 1000 and 200,000 tonnes to carry out bulk metallurgical tests, trial milling and full scale toll milling. Mineral Resource Inventory One of our core activities is auditing of resource statements. We provide services in resource validations and design programmes for validation, definition and extension. Geology and Exploration Using cavity modelling and key indicator mpi-analyses, we specialise on geological exploration within and near historical production workings.
